What is a good conversion rate
Average landing-page conversion rates cluster around 2–5%, but vary enormously by intent, traffic source, and offer. The number matters less than the trend — improving from 2% to 3% is a 50% lift in output from the same traffic, which is why conversion-rate optimization often beats buying more traffic.

Questions
Conversions ÷ visitors or sessions?
Either works if you're consistent. Sessions is more common for web analytics; unique visitors gives a per-person rate. Pick one and track it the same way over time.
